The awe-inspiring Friesian stallion*Tjeerd was imported into Washington State from the Netherlands in the 1980s. *Tjeert sired many excellent Friesian sons and daughters that founded families of their own across North America.
He sired many purebred Friesian and half-Friesian grandchildren who excelled in today's demanding Friesian driving, riding, and dressage competitions. We will always remember how incredibly beautiful this Friesian stallion was.
